Session budgétaire
La session budgétaire du Conseil d’Administration de l’Université de Yaoundé II s’est tenue le 20 décembre 2024 au Centre de Développement du Numérique Universitaire (CDNU) au campus principal, sous la présidence effective de Madame MENGUE ME ZOMO Suzanne, Présidente de cette instance. Le Professeur Richard Laurent OMGBA, Recteur de l’Université de Yaoundé II, rapportait les quinze points inscrits à l’ordre du jour.
Dans son allocution, Madame la Présidente du Conseil d’Administration a exhorté les membres à faire preuve d’objectivité, de rigueur et d’un esprit constructif au cours des débats. Elle a félicité les étudiants de l’Université de Yaoundé pour leur performance lors des différentes compétitions inter-universitaires.
Au cours des travaux, le Conseil a approuvé le procès-verbal du Conseil d’administration du 28 juin 2024. Il a en outre adopté le rapport d’activités académiques, de recherche et de coopération pour le compte de l’année académique 2023-2024 a été présenté aux Administrateurs. Il en ressort que l’Institution poursuit son processus de rationalisation des études doctorales, ainsi que la délivrance des diplômes aux étudiants dont la première remise effective aura lieu en début 2025.
Après avoir délibéré conformément à la loi, le Conseil vote et arrête le budget de l’Université de Yaoundé II, pour l’exercice 2025, équilibré en recettes et en dépenses à la somme de 8 184 472 933 (Huit milliards cent-quatre vingt-quatre millions quatre cent soixante-douze mille neuf cent trente-trois) FCFA) assorti du Projet de Performance annuel.
Le Conseil a, pour finir, procédé à la validation du Plan Stratégique de Développement des Infrastructures de l’Université de Yaoundé II actualisé et des projets soutenus par le Budget d’Investissement Public (BIP).
The budgetary session of the Board of Directors of the University of Yaounde II Soa was held on 20th December 2024 at the University Digital Development Center (CDNU) on the main campus, under the chairmanship of Mrs MENGUE ME ZOMO Suzanne, President of this body. Professor Richard Laurent OMGBA, the Rector of the University of Yaounde II, reported of the various points on the agenda. In her speech, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors urged members to be objective, rigorous and constructive during the debates. Moreover, she congratulated the students of the University of Yaounde II on their performance during the various inter-university competitions.
During the meeting, the Board approved the minutes of the meeting of the the Board of Directors held on the 28 June, 2024. The Board also adopted the report on academic, research and cooperation activities for the academic year 2023-2024, which was presented to the Directors.
The report showed that the institution is continuing its process of rationalising doctoral studies and issuing diplomas to students, the first of which will be awarded in early 2025.
After deliberation in accordance with the law, the Board voted and adopted the budget of the University of Yaounde II for the financial year 2025 which is balanced in incom and expenditure to the sum of 8 184 472 933 (Eight billion one hundred and eighty-four million four hundred and seventy-two thousand nine hundred and thirty-three CFA francs) together with the Annual Performance Project.
Finally, the board validated the updated Strategic Infrastructure Development Plan for the University of Yaounde II and the projects supported by the Public Investment Budget (BIP)
