Les documents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9s hier, 16 d\u00e9cembre, dans la salle des th\u00e8ses au campus de Soa, entre M. le Recteur, Pr Richard Laurent Omgba, et le repr\u00e9sentant r\u00e9gional de la Croix-Rouge.<\/p>\n<p>Cette convention concr\u00e9tise de nombreux actes de collaboration et d\u2019\u00e9change entre les deux institutions. Le rapprochement s\u2019est fait par la voie du Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de recherche en droit international et communautaire (CEDIC), de l\u2019UY2, \u00e0 travers l\u2019appui multiforme de la Croix-Rouge aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements scientifiques et formations acad\u00e9miques organis\u00e9s par le CEDIC.<\/p>\n<p>Pour M. le Recteur, le pr\u00e9sent accord \u00ab traduit la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019UY2 d\u2019am\u00e9liorer son savoir-faire et d\u2019adapter ses offres de formations et de recherche en droit international humanitaire \u00bb, et de produire aux pays africains \u00ab l\u2019expertise ad\u00e9quate en mati\u00e8re de pr\u00e9vention et de gestion de situation de crise humanitaire \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le repr\u00e9sentant r\u00e9gional du CICR a de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9mis le v\u0153u que le droit international humanitaire occupe \u00ab une place de choix dans les programmes d\u2019enseignement et de recherche en cycle doctoral \u00bb de l\u2019UY2.<\/p>\n<p>Outre la signature du protocole d\u2019accord, il a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au transfert du fonds documentaire du CICR \u00e0 la biblioth\u00e8que du CEDIC, apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9nov\u00e9 ses locaux.\u00a0 Et d\u2019annoncer que dans les prochains jours, la Croix-Rouge remettra des chaises \u00e0 ladite biblioth\u00e8que suivie d\u2019un don de huit ordinateurs pour \u00ab am\u00e9liorer les capacit\u00e9s de recherche num\u00e9rique dudit Centre \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Une conf\u00e9rence-d\u00e9bat portant sur <strong>la mise en \u0153uvre des Conventions de Gen\u00e8ve du 12 ao\u00fbt 1949 au Cameroun<\/strong>, anim\u00e9e par le lieutenant-colonel Bernard Tsuite, Magistrat militaire, et mod\u00e9r\u00e9e par le Vreptic, Pr Ze Mikande, a
